The Awolowo Cap

Hello everyone, welcome to my blog today and I will be talking a new turn or direction thou in my introduction post I made mention of my job.

I am a fashion designer by profession and so therefore I will slide a little into it today with a kind of cap we wear in the west and south known as the awolowo cap.

In the west especially we have different kind of cap and the Western Nigeria sees it as part of their dressing and without it many at times their dressing is incomplete.

There are many types of cap but today I will focus on what they called the awolowo cap fondly called after the great Obafemi Awolowo.

The cap is made majorly with materials from the shoe making field like the maco, the cardboard, the gum, the foam and net.

The is to make the cap fit and stand strong as it should be.
