The world's children-focused organization, the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF), is known to have issued a non-fungible token (NFT) on the Ethereum network.
This is the latest step by UNICEF in embracing the crypto industry, where the organization has previously used Bitcoin (BTC) and Ether (ETH) for donations .
Even though they receive donated funds in the form of crypto assets, in their distribution they will be converted into fiat money .
