We must value our work!

Being a kind person by nature, I have many times come across the fact that some people, seeing a benevolent attitude, begin to become impudent.

When this happens regularly, good people begin to harden and harden. Kindness is diminishing. It is not for nothing that the people say that "good must be with fists."

I'll tell you a case from my story. I used to work at an entrepreneurship support center. We received salaries from the state, and also won various tenders. Once we won a good youth entrepreneurship development program. 90% of the program (seminars, master classes, excursions to enterprises) was implemented by me with a colleague. Our responsibilities included negotiations with business coaches, entrepreneurs and specialists, as well as being present at all events.

I loved my job!

We won 1 million rubles (13672,6 dollars). How much of this money do you think my colleague and I received? I don't know how much she is, but they gave me 6,000 rubles (82,04 dollars). 

They explained this fact by the presence of problems in the organization and the payment of an annual bonus to all employees. As it turned out later, most of it ended up in the pocket of the director and accountant.

The accountant is still a lady, she constantly shouts that the universe is abundant. Still would! To steal from the state so much!

And then I decided to stop being so kind. After a while I left work, although I was very sorry. One of the factors in the next job search was a decent wage. In my new employment contract, it was spelled out what the bonus was for and for what it could be deprived. In the first case, the accountant and the director decided whether I behaved well during the month, based on this and determined my bonus amount. Wow, arrogant women!

How they were not put in jail, I still do not understand. They stole godlessly.

One year later, after working together, the ex-director called me and offered to work again under her leadership. I shuddered. When she announced the salary, I told her that my work is much more expensive!

This incident taught me a lot. First of all, the fact that you need to value your time and your strength. Other people will start paying what you value yourself! Of course, you need to adequately assess your skills and abilities. Once I was interviewing for the position of "designer", I saw very interesting young people: there is no experience, no knowledge, but the salary is very big!

If you have some experience in your field, knowledge and skills, then do not hesitate to immediately name those numbers that suit you! Otherwise, you will have to learn from your mistakes, as I did. All good!
