Hello friends! I wanted to write this post on the eve of Knowledge Day, but something went wrong. I will not say that we had any special training camps, nevertheless, the time disappeared somewhere.
What do I want to say about the school? This is a huge and very important layer in the life of every person, an entire era. In general, it seems to me that when a child goes to first grade, childhood ends. Discipline begins, lessons, new knowledge and the first mistakes in notebooks.
As an adult, I decided to live consciously and work on myself in several directions. Interestingly, I chose programming, English and exercise. At some point, I realized that all this takes its origins back in school. There we are given knowledge in all areas, so that in the future we are smart and can improve our knowledge in selected industries. Only in school it is a direct obligation, in adulthood it is a desirable activity. At school there is time and money for development, as an adult - you need to make some efforts to find this time "for yourself". "Adult" studies are often in contrast to leisure.
It becomes a little easier to study some subjects (for example, English or computer science) when the child goes to school. True, the first five or six years are not about their own development - there would have time to explain to the child some basic knowledge.
A bit of lyrics. Last year, the study was partly remote, that is, the children studied at home according to the teachers' online assignments. After talking with several parents, I realized that the most difficult thing was for those whose children are in elementary school. I had not so much to check my homework as to explain the material on the program. High school students, as a rule, coped with the task on their own. But here, again, it all depends on your own discipline and ability to organize your working time.
I will also add that the school environment is very important. This is probably one of the most important factors. If an atmosphere of friendship and trust reigns in the class, then any child, even the most notorious, will "open up" and show amazing results. There are many complexes that come from childhood, which must be dealt with with all our might. A favorable environment will not only not create complexes, but will work to ensure that all the talents of the children are manifested.
In general, school is not torment, but a real reward if you are lucky with teachers and classmates!
