When i was trying to read it in Khmer, this Déjà Vu effect seemed to play in my mind with a similar topic. I had a similar discussion with my classmate about the idea behind earning and using digital currency. If people try to get rich by buying digital currency and sell it for money to get rich or try to get rich by coming here to earn digital money with provoking posts to get upvoted and exchange their serey for the traditional money, the whole platform and digital currency wont get its real value as it meant to be. It will only get popular for a while, then it will drop its value again and again, because people keep falling back on the traditional money where banks and goverment are in between. Falling back on traditional money means “we dont trust the digital currency yet, its not ready to replace the traditional money yet.” Digital currency can get its real value if we keep using it by purchasing product with it and not using it to buy the traditional money to get rich like a stockmarket. By doing so we’re working toward a new revolution in using money where people can have more control over it. I think that should be everyone’s mindset if you want to participate with the digital money, is to push the digital currency’s its value, to make it real revolutionary. Dont exchange for money, but enjoy using your coins to buy products online. So dont participate to get rich, but participate to change.
