Strange kind of insects found in the afternoon

When I was walking along the road two days ago, I saw this strange insect in the leaves of a tree on the side of the road. At first it seemed like a moth to me. Because it looks a lot like a moth. But the back of it looks a lot like a caterpillar. So I thought it was not a moth. 

The back of this first cotyledon looked like a caterpillar's face. Again, the back of it seemed to be tied up after a while. Which was moving like a jingle. So this insect seemed kind of weird to me. Because I have never seen such an insect before. 

I thought it was the second stage of the butterfly life cycle. I'm not sure, of course. Although its color looks a lot like a butterfly. Maybe it will take the shape of a full-fledged butterfly if it gets bigger. So I'm not sure about either.
