Now we will talk about the new residence of St. Nicholas. She is unique. There is no other one like this in Ukraine. And in Europe too! In Odessa, they decided to open a residence in the catacombs. Yes, exactly in the famous Odessa catacombs. A place where all guests of the city want to go. So let's go in order.
Unique residence of St. Nicholas in Odessa
We leave for the village of Nerubayskoye. This is where the entrance to the Odessa catacombs is. The organizers decided to open the residence of St. Nicholas in the most unusual place. This is the first and only underground reception room for the saint.
Now the underground catacombs are painted in festive colors. Separately, I note that during the preparatory work, the walls were not just painted. Unique patterns were applied to the surface. During the work, luminous paints were used. This gave the catacombs a unique look.
The residence itself was opened thanks to the support of the Nerubai village council. The artist of the art studios "Maystri Divosvitu" and "Golden Peretin" Maria Vasilevskaya and Svetlana Ganich took part in the work.
This residence will operate seven days a week until January 10, 2022.
