My opinion on Joseph Murphy's The Power of Your Subconscious: Believe it or Not

Today I decided to get to Joseph Murphy and his book: "The Power of Your Subconscious." She fell into my hands back in 1997. The curious thing is that I was just in the hospital. This book was read by a comrade in misfortune. But, unlike me, he was in a day hospital. I dumped home for the night. I took the book from him and began to read.

First thoughts

I was interested in the fact that the author is trying to prove that it is the subconscious that controls our life. He, as it were, denies (in any case, sometimes there is such an impression) the will of the higher powers.

Murphy claims that if you learn to be friends with your subconscious, to lead it, then you can get rid of not only everyday problems, but also of diseases. The person will become 100% healthy.

I thought about it. Murphy claims that there are a lot of people who are "you" with their subconscious. They know how to give him clear and necessary questions. Do not forget that the subconscious reacts to a person's thoughts in a straightforward manner. If there is some doubt, then the result may be completely opposite to the real desire.

For example, we think that it is possible that in certain situations we will be able to earn 100 rubles. But if all the puzzles do not work out, then our earnings will not exceed 30-50 rubles. The subconscious reacts to doubt. As a result, the situation is such that our income is not 100, but only 40 or 30 rubles. If you set a direct, clear task before the subconscious, without a shadow of doubt, then the result will be maximum. You need to give yourself the following instruction: I will EARN 3 thousand on this project within a month. In this case, the subconscious mind receives a clear order. It is necessary to make sure that a certain project brings exactly three thousand.

Here you can agree with the author. But at the same time, the question immediately arises. Why do those who do not live in luxury with a subconscious "you" live to 50 and leave?

It turns out that it is possible to find a common language with your subconscious only at times, and not on a constant basis.
I liked the fact that Murphy gives a lot of examples.

Girl student

A girl who studies at an educational institution. Before the New Year, she dumps to her home, to the village (or simply - to another settlement). On the way to the bus stop, she walks past a display case of fancy handbags. Seeing a cool bag, she really wanted it. But, students do not have money for branded goods. She dropped her head and went home. During the New Year's Eve, her boyfriend teases the girl exactly the handbag that she saw in the shop window.

The author believes that a strong desire sent a clear command from the subconscious: "I want this handbag." So it found a way to translate that very desire into reality.

Australian tuberculosis

There was a man of advanced age. He was diagnosed with late stage tuberculosis. The doctors said that he had no more than a month to live. At this time, the son was in Israel. He buys a piece of wood with an upholstered tin. He brought this piece of wood home, gave it to his father and said that it was a piece of the cross on which Jesus was crucified. They say he will help to heal. The father believed. Faith was very strong. After 3 months, he came to the medical luminaries. They were surprised that the man was still alive. After conducting the survey, their surprise knew no bounds. There was no tuberculosis. The man was completely healthy.

An example of each of us

We all set alarms. But he wakes up for a minute, or several tens of seconds before his call. We lie and wait for it to ring. In the evening, we say to the subconscious that we need to get up, for example, at 4 in the morning. It will be us a minute before the specified time, so that we can wake up.
I don't know, after evaluating a lot of examples, I come to the conclusion. The subconscious mind is, as it were. Moreover, there is no equal sign between the subconscious and the conscious. Consciousness can doubt, it hesitates and is in no hurry to make decisions. For action, the consciousness pushes the subconscious with its commands. But, either we really do not know how to speak the same language with him, or it is equal to an accident, an unconscious coincidence of circumstances. If we talk about diagnoses, then do not forget that we are all human and have the right to make mistakes. So are the doctors. They cannot always give 100% correct diagnoses.

The book itself is noteworthy. It makes you take a special look at your own inner world.
