Many people know that I respect fishing. This season I managed to visit 3 reservoirs. Once again I was convinced that in some cases it is not necessary to look for large bodies of water. You can go to a large lake and catch as much as in a small swamp. It is about such a reservoir that we will now talk.
Reservoir of the microdistrict "Sugar Factory"
On the outskirts of Podolsk, on the territory of the Sugar Factory microdistrict, there are 2 reservoirs. One more, the second a little less. I haven't fished on the bigger one yet. I mostly try to fish with the small one.
Without thinking twice, I went to this particular reservoir. Several species of fish are found here. In particular: crucian carp (there are both small and quite large, weighing up to 400 - 500 grams), perch (there are individuals up to 700 grams), rudd and carp.
Fishing preparation
Fishing on this lake does not require much preparation. I cooked mamalyga, kneaded a dough with the aroma of vanilla, dug a red worm, took the tackle and went to the lake.
Fishing start
I try to first throw the short-throw float gear, and then the bottom one. I threw a 5-meter rod. Then he prepared and threw a carp. He threw about 50 - 70 meters from the shore. There, in one place, there is a hole up to 3 meters deep. Everything, now it was possible to start a calm fishing.
I caught the first small crucian carp on the float. About 40E minutes later, after the start of fishing, the bell on the carp sounded. Hooked and began to pull. I feel that there is something. Moreover, it stretches quite hard. There are 5 meters to the shore. A turtle's back appears on the surface of the water!
This swamp thing is tearing all my gear. A fishing line that can hold up to 8 kg of carp was powerless against the turtle. So, at the very beginning of fishing, I was left without a bottom tackle. I just didn’t expect the rig to snatch and took just one spring.
Immediately I take out and lay out 2 more float rods. On two I had a red worm. One inhabited the dough. As a result, it turned out that on this day small crucian carp prefers dough with vanilla aroma. And the red worm came to his liking.
In total, that day, in 3 hours, I caught 22 crucians. At 10 o'clock in the morning, storm clouds began to gather in the sky. I hastened to retreat. As soon as I got home, there was a heavy downpour. So as not to a turtle, I think I could catch at least a larger amount of small paint. In certain situations, there was a chance to catch a larger crucian carp.
