Today we will focus on forest mushrooms. We go to the forest for edible mushrooms: russula. There are several types of this forest delicacy. In total, there are over 200 species. But in Russia and Ukraine there are about 60 - 70 varieties. There are both edible and poisonous.
In edibles, the pulp is burning, with an unpleasant smell and taste. Many edible species not only taste good, but are considered a real delicacy.
Russula are unpretentious. They are growing all over the place. True, it is worth noting that such a species as the Edible russula does not grow in the mountains. He prefers to live next door to beech and oak.
Almond russula prefers mixed forests, where oak and beech grow predominantly.
These two types of russula are quite common in the forests of the South of Ukraine. They have excellent taste. They grow from early June to October.
When you go for russula, first of all, you need to walk through deciduous forests. True, we try not to walk where there are very large thickets of wild grass. Russula do not like a lot of vegetation. They hide under small bushes in the shade. They can grow right in the middle of a forest path.
Remember to cut off the mushrooms with a knife. Thanks to this, the mycelium is preserved, which can continue to bear fruit.
Watching the video. I show you how and where I collect russula.
This is not the first and not the last material about mushrooms. I think I can show you where and how to pick different types of mushrooms. I prefer to collect: polish, hare mushrooms, russula, boletus, milk mushrooms, champignons and so on.
Keep for updates.
