View of my mosque and its surroundings

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Dear friends! Today I am starting without any introduction. The subject I will write about is: The mosque where I perform the duty of prayer, the mosque and some scenes around it.

The mosque that you can see in the picture, I have been performing the duty of leading the five daily prayers in this mosque for three years. Geographically, the mosque stands in the Bhuiyan Bari neighborhood of Ghorachara village under Sadar police station of Sirajganj district of Rajshahi division. The name of the mosque is Ghorachara Bhuiyan Bari Jame Masjid. This mosque was built in 2001. I remember very well that I was in class three at that time. My house was in the neighboring neighborhood. I used to go to the primary school in the village, and I used to go to school every day on the road that ran past this mosque.

When the mosque was built. I was only 9 years old at that time. In 2002, the year after the mosque was built, I ended my school life and started my new life studying at Qawmi Madrasa. ‌ Actually, I never imagined that I would ever serve as an Imam in this mosque in my village. Rather, I was thinking that if I had joined the madrasa, would I be able to survive on this path? By the grace of Allah, Allah has finally kept me on this path, I am grateful to Allah. And finally, at one point in my working life, Allah Almighty appointed me as an Imam in this mosque, and I also have the responsibility of teaching the Holy Quran to children in the morning madrasa located next to the mosque.

When the mosque was first built, the building was built on the space that was taken, later on, on the holy Friday, as there was no space for the worshippers during the Friday prayers,

a new part of the mosque was expanded by taking some more space two years ago. The work of the water roof on the roof of the new part was still pending. So the current committee cast the water roof three days ago. ‌ So, some of my students went up to water the roof and soaked the leaves with water. I also went up to the roof to see their work. It was very nice to go up to the roof and see the surrounding scenes.

So first of all, I took a picture of the microphone placed on the roof of the mosque for giving the call to prayer. And I thought to myself, how important this microphone is being used. If the microphone had the power to speak, then surely it would have been proudly saying that people come to prostrate at the feet of Allah with my voice. I was also drowning in a sea of thoughts, thinking that during the time of the Prophet, when Hazrat Bilal (RA) gave the call to prayer, there was no such microphone system, but Allah Almighty would have carried his voice far away.

The scenes seen from the roof were very beautiful, especially, there is a huge beautiful pond next to the mosque, the road running between the Murshid and the pond is beautiful to see. The cemetery is located next to the mosque. Where those who donated space to this mosque, who worked hard and built this mosque with money, are lying. In the lapse of time, we who are now walking on the earth, whether we are praying regularly in this mosque or not, all of us have to go to this house of graves.

After praying Zuhr, I was sitting in the mosque and thinking about what to write about today, so I checked the mobile gallery, saw the pictures taken from the roof of the mosque in the morning and decided to write about the mosque today. So I tried to take beautiful pictures of the inside of the mosque from several angles. Then, unable to find time due to the busyness of the whole day, I started writing after the evening and finally finished writing.
