Dear colleagues and friends! I hope everyone is well. I am well by the grace of Allah, Alhamdulillah. The topic that I will discuss with you today is
"Ekdala Ghat crossing under Sirajganj Sadar Police Station"

Last 11-08-2025. Every Monday. I was teaching students at my favorite institution Darul Arkam Madrasa. At 10:30 in the morning, a close friend called and asked where I was? In response to his question, I said that I was taking classes at the madrasa. My friend asked me when I would return from the madrasa? In response, I said after 12 noon. Then he said that he needed my motorcycle for some work. Saying this, my friend said that if you stay at the madrasa, I will come.
The job of this friend of mine is that when he takes the car, he says that it will take an hour and returns it to me after three hours. So I thought that without giving up the motorcycle, I would also go with my friend wherever he goes. Still, I would not give up the motorcycle. So I asked the principal sir for leave at 11:00. He gave me leave from 11:30. Meanwhile, my friend arrived at the madrasa at 11:00. Leaving my friend in the office, I took another class and left with him at 11:30.

The destination was Khatia Mari Bazar under Dhunat Police Station in Bogra district.
Although it was a different district, it was geographically very close. Four to five kilometers from my institution, I had to cross the Ekdala River ghat, after crossing the river, Dhunat Police Station began, and another five kilometers from there. My friend's purpose was to gather some laborers from the Khatia Mari area. For construction work.

Upon reaching Ekdala Ghat under Sirajganj Sadar Police Station, I felt very happy. I witnessed a new experience. And that is, there were boats at the ghat with enough passengers. But I could not see anyone on the boat.
And to get this boat from one side to the other, a rope is attached to the boat. The passengers of the boat themselves pull this rope and cross from one side of the river to the other. I liked it very much.
And many students from primary schools come to study from the west bank of this ghat to the east bank. Then I saw many students from primary schools crossing with us. There is a look of joy on their faces as they go home from school. Our souls have a connection with the river. When I go to the river bank, I feel a different peace in my mind. Although I feel a little scared, what if the boat sinks? What will happen then? Anyway, after all the speculations, I loaded the motorcycle into the boat and crossed to the west bank.

After crossing the river, the path was smooth for some time and then again on a paved road. Having reached the designated destination, I reached the market. I looked for the laborers I was going to meet. It is sad but true and realistic that I found the laborers' house, but they are not at home. I set off towards home with a heavy heart.
On the way back, I took pictures of the market.
It doesn't look like a market in the picture because it's a small market in a very remote area, with a few shops.

I ended by thanking everyone.
