*TOPIC: SHOUTS OF JOY AND VICTORY*

📖 *TODAY'S TEXT:*
Psalm 98:1-9

🔑 *KEY VERSE:*
"Shouts of joy and victory resound in the tents of the righteous: The Lord's right hand has done mighty things" (Psalm 118:15, NIV).

🖊️ *COMMENTARY*
The books of Psalms are filled with expressions of joy over victories won. Psalms 48:1-2 expresses the great joy and victory the lsraelites had over the Assyrian soldiers during one of their fiercest wars. It was songs of praise to God for gallant victory over their enemies. It also talks about the victory over the enemy during the Second coming of Christ on Earth. Similarty, in Psalm 98:1-9, the Psalmist extolled the Lordship of God in salvation to mankind, and for His goodness and mercy that endure
forever.

Believers in Christ are enjoined to sing for joy and praise God for all the victories He gave them. Again, Christians must acknowledge the marvelous works that God has done for them and is still doing by shouting for joy unto the Lord. Shouts of joy and victory resound in the tabernacle of the righteous. The joy of the Lord enables believers to be victorious in whatever they do.

In everything, believers should shout for joy for the victories God has done for them. Looking at what is happening in our world and how far God has been faithful to His word, Christian have every reason to shout for joy and sing unto the Lord a new song.
