🖊️ *COMMENTARY* 

Can you imagine a man with ten children, seven male and three female losing all of them in one day? Can you also imagine a man with seven thousand sheep, three thousand camels, five hundred yokes of oxen, five hundred she asses and estates, losing everything in one day? This is the story of a man called Job, a righteous man who shuns all forms of evil.

The story of Job is an intriguing and emotional piece. He rose from riches to rags and from rags back to riches. His story is the story of a

man who lost everything but God. The job was rich in gold and God, but when gold was lost, he held on to God. When you think you've lost all, think of Job and brace up. When you think all hope is lost, remember Job.

You are not alone in whatever you are going through. Someone has

gone through the same situation or even worse. The apostle Peter admonished believers, "Standfirm when he (Satan), attacks, Trust the Lord; and remember that other Christians all around the world are going through these sufferings too", 1 Peter 5:9, TLV. The good thing about whatever we go through in life is that we are not alone, God is with us. He says when you pass through the fire and the valley of the shadow of death, He is there. God is there with you. The story of Job ended in PRAISE! He had double for all his troubles. Everything he lost was restored double-fold. ...the Lord restored his wealth and happiness! The Lord gave him twice much as before", Job 42. May your days of suffering be shortened, and may the Lord turn again your captivity and restore to you double for all your troubles.
