There are seven unclean spirits that roam the world to possess humanity. I ask myself: which is the unclean spirit which is possessesing you today and is making a prisoner of you? Those who are possessed by an unclean spirit are labeled as "vicious".
What is a vice? It is a bad habit that leads man not to live as a child of God but as a child of satan . The ruinous consequences of vice are not only personal, but also social.
The vice, with the passing of the years, becomes a chain from which man alone cannot free himself only by his strength.
It really takes the fullness of Christ's grace to free oneself from vice.
Having a limited space, I will try to treat only one vice. And it is the vice of lust. Those who are slaves of lust generate disorder not only in themselves, but also around themselves. The worst manifestations of lust are: (1) Incest, it is having sex with a family member of origin. (2) Pedophilia, which is sexually abusing a minor. (3) Homosexuality, which is having sex with a person of the same sex. (4) Prostitution, which is selling one's body for money. (5) Pornography, which is feeding virtually on images and scenes that provide sensual and sexual pleasure.
(6) Adultery, which is having or even wanting sexual relations with a woman or man who is not one's spouse. (7)Fornication, which is having sexual relations outside of marriage.
Lust is the vice that makes the human face brutal and spreads an unbearable stench. Lust closes our eyes so that we may not to see and taste the eternal beauty of God.
"Blessed are the pure in heart because they shall see God," says Jesus. Amen. Alleluia.
