Memories are an event that one ought not to forget so easily, especially the memory of growing up as a child. In my own case, I have a lot of childhood memories back then, and as I keep on remembering them, that is how I will just be laughing anyhow because it looks so funny to me now.
One of my childhood memories that I will never forget is how I used to stress my mother every time she bathed me and put me to sleep because that is when I would just shit (excrete) on the napping that she had put on my body.
Do you know what's the funniest thing when she or my elders at home do not notice that I have excreted on my body? I will be using my hands to play with my shit thinking that it is moi moi that they have served me. This continued until one faithful day when my mother beat the hell out of me, and on that same day I learned the difference between shit and moi.
Another of my childhood memories that I still remember was how my Dad used to carry me on his shoulders and be dancing. I would be crying once he had discovered that I was carrying. That was when he would then buy me Bobo juice and once I drank it, my crying would stop.
However, my childhood was very remarkable because I played a lot with my brothers and sisters at home. There was a day when I was in Junior Secondary School (JS3). I fought with my best and he punched me on my mouth and instantly I was wounded. It didn't just end there. When I tried to revenge what he had done to me, he brought out a razor blade from nowhere and tore my face, which the mark is still showing on my face today.
Another of my childhood memories that I can remember was that, as I was growing up with my friends, we would usually drive tires around our street and most especially, whenever rain was falling, that was when our tyre driving would become more serious. As a child, we saw tires as a child's motor, which is very common in African countries.
