He allegedly raped a girl in 2021. The Uttarkashi local court sentenced Pankaj to 10 years in that case.
The court announced the sentence based on the complaint of the raped girl and the report of the doctors.
Although the girl was less than 18 years old at the time of the incident, she was not kept beyond suspicion.
