Why a billionaire wealth tax would hurt the working poor and the middle class

Although the wealth tax was drafted with the poor in the mind, its passing could cause them more harm than benefit. 

 

Vermond Senator Bernie Sanders wants to tax billionaaires out of existence, or at least make them an endangered species. His poposed wealth tx of up to 8 percent per year would mean "the wealth of billionaires would be cut in half over 15 years," he says.
