As many of you already know we have been working on improving the Serey blockchain. We have finally finished our chain upgrade and are now ready to implement it. The implementation will happen “TODAY”.
The chain upgrade consists of the following:
1. Remove the Serey Dollar from the chain entirely.
2. Improve the voting algorithm by limiting votes to only 25 times at maximum power.
3. The full regeneration of the votes takes about two days.
4. The annual inflation rate is set to 1% per year. This might be increased when there are more users.
5. Change the rewards for witnesses: 15%, content creators and curators: 65%, interest for Serey staking: 20%
6. Expand the number of witnesses to 20 witnesses with 1 witness as standby.
Unfortunately, with the chain update all the post of the last 4 days will be deleted. We would recommend you to repost these posts again.
People who are interested to run a witness can find the documentation in the footer below. As Serey aims to become decentralized, we welcome anyone who wants to become a witness.
