Hello friends,

This is my first post on the platform, so let's get to know each other first. My name is Ira, and I live in Gorlovka, not far from Donetsk (DPR) in Ukraine.

The purpose of creating this blog was to give people a more objective picture of what is happening now on the battlefields. My posts will certainly be of interest to those who believe that the war began three weeks ago - February 24th. Believe me, I am a witness of those events, it began much earlier, after the bombing of the Donetsk airport by the Ukrainian authorities on May 26, 2014, as well as on Bloody Sunday on July 27, 2014 in Gorlovka. 

You can’t tell all the stories in one post, so I’ll start with the current situation in my city and gradually tell everything that I know, saw and heard over the past 8 years in Donbas. If you are interested, then subscribe, I will always follow back :)

Just a few minutes ago, while writing a post, a Russian Aerospace Forces fighter flew over - this is our friend, who has been helping Gorlovka and neighboring cities for a week to fight the nationalists who have been killing our people for many years, only because we went against their will and did not support Kyiv. 

Yesterday, the Armed Forces of Ukraine fired at us from to the Southern and northern part of the city, damaging many residential buildings and causing significant damage. This is not the first and surely also not the last time in our lives. Such destruction has been happening for many years. No one on the Ukrainian side has reported them. All we've heard is that terrorists were causing conflict amongst themselves.

I understand the world community, which has not heard about the crimes in Donbas, which the Kyiv regime carefully concealed. Yes, for them the war began three weeks ago, but for us it has started many years before. In these 8 years, Ukraine has been steadily accumulated weapons. They just thought that it was possible to terrorize people like this for many years and nothing would happen to them...

Thanks to our older brother - Russia, that has now stood up for us, there is hope for the best. Maybe at least our children will live in peace, without fear that there will be attacks near schools and playgrounds. I’ll finish this for now. I will continue to try to write more to inform people much as possible first hand. In the meantime, I’ll share with you a few photos of the destruction in my city
