We cry too

"We cry too"

 

We don't light our face and make it

shine like the sun; there's a 

shadow of blackness in there.

we don't find comfort in poems

 

we cry too. we also drench the

air with grief; and bask in the

river of regrets. we have a river

that embedded blood in our veins.

 

we cry too. when there's a 

mountain of tiredness in our way

and there's no way back home

we also promised home we 

 

would give it all and go hard.

don't assume we sleep and dine

in the words we weave; we are

not a piece of paper. 

 

valor does not always shine; we 

are not the shining sun. we are 

like the rainbow with our words

but, we cry too.

 

we are masters of words, we don't

control time and fate. we understand

the rules of poetry, but the world

is still a mistery to us. we cry too
