The hostess is in despair, and a person in such a state simply cannot soberly assess and control working moments related to business and work.
Of course, I am a person inclined to empathize and sympathize with someone else's grief (and you can't call the situation otherwise), but I just can't allow this someone else's grief to be reflected directly on my earnings and my income.
Selfish? Perhaps... But only when it comes to unjustified physical effort. That is, if you are an employer, then I think it is right, regardless of your life circumstances, to pay for the efforts of workers in fairness. My husband and I also did not come to do charity work.
Recently, the hostess has become unbearable with her workers, not letting them go on a break, delaying wages and not giving days off, so that workers can send the earned funds home to their loved ones and simply buy the necessary goods and products in the store for a week.
Of course, no one can tolerate such an attitude for a long time, and my husband and I have found a seemingly normal place of work with the provision of a place of residence, although we are already picking mushrooms.
In the new place, everything seems to be fine so far, but oh... there are also nuances... Firstly, it is good when the mushroom is large, but when it is small it is, to put it mildly, well ... and, especially when the calculation of wages depends entirely on the kg collected personally, and not on the years spent on the plantation.
