If you had seen a community of trees, some grows upright while some are crooked not minding their shape, they produce fruit.

A tree doesn't need to go crooked to get rainfall because any the rain falls surly the tree has hope that it will get to it the tree therefore lives by default hoping that the rain would get to it and if the doesn't get to it over time, the tree would wither and it leaves falls and if the rain doesn't come sooner the tree can't make any move in search of water because it would depend on the water its tap root would get . This is living by default.
