Banana fruit is one of the menus during the celebration of Kenduri Maulid.

Dear Sereyians! On this occasion I will share photos of bananas sold at the fruit sales center. This location is located in Blang Pria Village, North Aceh Samudera District.  As usual when entering the month of Rabi'ul 'early on the Hijjriah calendar or the month of Mawlid (Buleuen Molod, Bahasa Aceh), the Islamic community generally celebrates the birthday of Maulid to commemorate the month of the birth of the Great Prophet Muhammad SAW. No exception for the people of Aceh, they celebrated by holding dhikr barzanji, prayer and reciting the prayers in the Meunasah village. The group for the dhikr is the santri from the pesantren. In entertaining guests and the professors, the community brought alakadar or even more food for the Maulid. The community believes by holding khuluri Maulid, the Prophet Muhammad will love us more.  A variety of menus are served for the occasion. In addition to white rice which is the main menu, there is also sticky rice wrapped in small pieces like a cube with banana leaves that have been wilted on fire called pulot (Acehnese Language). So back to the banana, where the community always brought a large number of bananas to Meunasah as a friend to eat pulot. The right hand eats pulot while the left hand eats the banana so that it feels delicious. So this banana is very hunted by the people when entering the Maulid season. There are people who intentionally harvest the banana trees themselves in order to harvest them when they enter the moon Molod. Thank you! @iwansunarya
