As discussed earlier, there are many explanations about butterflies. But on this occasion we will discuss the benefits of the existence of butterflies on plants found around us. In general, there are advantages and disadvantages that exist in every creature in this world. Likewise with this one animal, which is a butterfly, there are benefits for plants with the presence of butterflies, but here is no mention of the disadvantages. Helps pollinate flowers** In general, all of us know that during this time the bees have helped flowers in the process of pollinating the flowers. But most people are not aware if the butterfly also performs this task in pollinating the flower plants like bees. Even though butterflies cannot carry as much pollen as a bee does, butterflies have their own advantages in this regard. When compared with bees, butterflies can fly farther than bees when pollinating.  ### **2. Maintaining the continuity of the ecosystem** As said in the previous post, butterflies are also very useful in maintaining the continuity of the ecosystem. In this case the experts say that they play a dual role in the food chain. Either as prey or predator, eat and be eaten by other living things. In addition, their short lifespan is also effective in showing ecosystem changes in the insect environment. This means that its presence is also beneficial to other animals, even though the butterfly suffers a loss.  ### **3. As a source of antibiotics** Experts find one benefit of butterflies such as antibiotics. Antibiotics are very important for the treatment of various types of bacterial infections. However, many people do not realize that some butterfly species give us antibiotics which prove to be very important to save lives (Indonesia also has this type of butterfly). The results say that Butterfly proved effective in combating the growth of Staphylococcus Aureus, a bacterium that has killed approximately 90 thousand people every year in the United States.
