The Paris 2024 Olympic Games will take place from Friday, July 26 to Sunday, August 11. The opening ceremony will be held on the banks of the Seine River and the Argentine delegation is made up of 136 athletes to represent the country in 23 sports. Notwithstanding this schedule, there are two sports that start their participation in the Games in advance: Football and Rugby Sevens, which start today.
The world sports event will have its opening ceremony this Friday, July 26, at the Seine River, where 600 thousand spectators are expected to gather. However, the activity will begin on Wednesday 24 with soccer and rugby.
Thirty-two sports will be part of the Olympic calendar, which will last almost a month until the closing ceremony. During this 19-day period, there will be 329 events in 762 sessions. Among the novelties is the incorporation of new disciplines such as Breaking, Surfing, Skateboarding and Sport Climbing. While the big absences will be Karate and Baseball.

Del viernes 26 de julio hasta el domingo 11 de agosto se desarrollarán los Juegos Olímpicos París 2024, que tendrá su ceremonia inaugural a orillas del Río Sena y con una delegación argentina que está compuesta por 136 deportistas para representar al país en 23 deportes. No obstante este cronograma hay dos deportes que comienzan en forma anticipada su participación en los Juegos: se trata del Fútbol y del Rugby Seven que inician hoy.
La cita del deporte mundial tendrá su ceremonia inaugural este viernes 26 de julio en el Río Sena, en donde se esperan que se reúnan 600 mil espectadores. Sin embargo, la actividad comenzará el miércoles 24 con fútbol y rugby.
Serán 32 deportes los que formarán parte del calendario olímpico, que se extenderá por casi un mes hasta la jornada de la ceremonia de clausura. En ese lapso de 19 días habrá 329 eventos en 762 sesiones. Entre las novedades se encuentra la incorporación de nuevas disciplinas como: Breaking, Surf, Skateboarding y Escalada Deportiva. Mientras que las grandes ausencias serán el Karate y Béisbol.
