En la corrida asistió a Mudryk, no fue gol mitad por la acción de Dubravka y mitad por el palo.
Y tanto va el cántaro a la fuente que... Remontó Ucrania con gol Roman Yaremchuk. Tras una subida y un pase frontal de Shaparenko (completó un partido tremendo con gol y asistencia), el delantero del Valencia controló el pase llovido y con la punta del botín evitó el cierre de Dubravka.
Ahora el Grupo E tiene 3 líderes, Rumania, Ucrania y Eslovaquia con 3 puntos, mientras Bélgica aún no sumó. Mañana Bélgica y Rumania completan la segunda fecha de esta zona.
Polonia, primera eliminada de la Eurocopa tras perder ante Austria.
La Selección de Polonia consumó este viernes su eliminación matemática de la Eurocopa 2024, la primera en hacerlo, tras su derrota por 3-1 contra Austria y el empate posterior entre Francia y Países Bajos (0-0), que deja sin ninguna opción más que ser último de grupo al conjunto de Robert Lewandowski.
Con cero puntos, a la espera de la última cita ante Países Bajos, ya no puede alcanzar a ninguno de los equipos que la preceden en la clasificación: ni a Austria, que la aventaja en tres puntos, pero le gana la diferencia particular; ni a Países Bajos ni a Francia, ambas cuatro puntos por encima, con sólo tres por disputarse.
Esta fue la primera eliminación de la Euro 2024 de Alemania, que empezó con ritmo vertiginoso y partidos de alto vuelo.

Incompetente en el arte del gol, con dos errores clamorosos en la definición de Antoine Griezmann y sin Kylian Mbappé sobre el terreno de juego, Francia no pudo con los Países Bajos y ambas selecciones firmaron el primer empate sin goles de la Eurocopa (0-0), en un partido marcado por las dudas que mantiene el conjunto dirigido por Didier Deschamps.
Francia necesitaba dar un golpe encima de la mesa después de su mala imagen ante Austria. Su pírrica victoria (0-1) con un triste tanto en propia meta de Wober exigía al combinado galo cambiar una marca bastante alejada de lo que debe tener un favorito a ganar la Eurocopa. Por suerte (o no) para Deschamps, durante los días previos al choque sólo se habló del monotema de la nariz de Mbappé. Su fractura nasal, convertida en un problema nacional, escondió todos los problemas que dejó Francia en su debut.
Finalmente, Mbappé no apareció en la alineación. Ni siquiera con la máscara tan fotografiada en la víspera del choque. La protección, con la bandera francesa dibujada, pasó a ser negra por la normativa UEFA y el jugador del Real Madrid la lució durante el calentamiento. Pero de inicio, no pasó de ahí. Se mantuvo en sus trece ante las presiones de dar la titularidad a Werghorst, el héroe frente a Polonia. Y en un principio, el duelo pareció funcionar para los Países Bajos, que nada más sacar desde el centro del campo estuvo a punto de marcarse una jugada como la del la final que perdió frente a Alemania en el Mundial de 1974.
Entonces, fue Cruyff quien provocó un penalti al minuto de juego después de que Países Bajos, desde el saque inicial, moviera la pelota sin que ningún rival la tocara hasta el acelerón del genio neerlandés que provocó la pena máxima. Pasados cincuenta años, el equipo de Koeman rozó un gol parecido. Sacó de centro, tocó el balón sin que lo olisquearan los franceses y todo terminó en un mano a mano que Frimpong erró ante Maignan.
El susto para Francia fue importante. No era el mejor modo de iniciar su redención de los errores en su estreno. Sin embargo, se recuperó bien. En general, consiguió hacerse con el partido. Kanté parece el de 2018, poco a poco recupera su mejor versión; Tchouaméni aportó algo de estabilidad y equilibrio; y Griezmann, sobre todo Griezmann, despertó como se le exigía después de su errático encuentro ante Austria.

Sólo le faltó acierto para desestabilizar a un rival que tuvo sus opciones con las arrancadas de Gakpo, el más peligroso de los hombres de Koeman. Mientras Schouten y Reijnders libraban una batalla tremenda por gobernar el centro del campo con Kanté y Tchouaméni, Gakpo, con sus dos compañeros casi siempre derrotados, consiguió salir a la carrera en varias ocasiones. Una de ellas la cerró con un intento desde fuera del área que Maignan salvó como buenamente pudo y los Países Bajos se quedaron sin premio.
El paso por la caseta no cambió nada. Aunque Francia siguió mostrándose como un equipo plano, que casi no transmitía nada, por lo menos funcionaba a base de arreones individuales y con los mismos protagonistas. Tchouaméni seguía creciendo, Kanté mantenía el nivel y Griezmann seguía intentándolo sin descanso, aunque de nuevo sin fortuna.
Aunque pareciera increíble, volvió a fallar otra oportunidad tremenda. En esta ocasión, su oportunidad sucedió a un cabezazo clarísimo de Tchouaméni. Griezmann, delante de la portería, se trastabilló en el último instante y Francia volvió a quedarse sin un gol que pudo merecer. Y encima, recibió un susto enorme con un tanto de Simons anulado por fuera de juego de Dumfries, que según el VAR molestaba a Maignan en la trayectoria del balón.
Y ya no hubo mucho más. Los cambios no afectaron al partido. Ni siquiera la entrada de Weghorst. Koeman sacó a su héroe a falta de diez minutos. Pero tampoco pasó nada con un atacante solvente porque no era la noche para marcar goles. Sin Mbappé, con su mascara bien guardada en el banquillo, el partido, y con Griezmann señalado en ese aspecto, se convirtió en una mascarada en el arte de la definición. Nadie dio en la diana y ambos equipos sumaron su cuarto punto para dejar casi sentenciada su clasificación para octavos de final.
