Luego de una fase de grupos que dejó confirmaciones, sorpresas y decepciones, los 16 mejores equipos del torneo que se disputa en Costa de Marfil afrontan los octavos de final.
En un campeonato del que participaron inicialmente 24 selecciones, se clasifican para la fase eliminatoria los primeros dos de cada grupo y los cuatro mejores terceros.
Los octavos de final de la CAN 2023 se están disputando desde el sábado 27 y terminarán el martes 30 de enero, a razón de dos partidos por día que definirán a los ocho clasificados para los cuartos de final.
