Copa América 2024: with venues and defined calendar.

A few days before the draw (next Thursday the 7th), Conmebol reported these news.

Next Thursday, December 7, the draw for the Copa América 2024 will take place in the United States. And this Monday, in anticipation of what the event will be, Conmebol announced all the venues that will be used for the event and the game calendar , still with the groups to be defined.

There will be 16 teams divided into four zones . The first two of each will get into the quarterfinals. The four seeds are confirmed: Argentina, Mexico, United States and Brazil. The National Team will play the opening match on Thursday, June 20 in Atlanta, at the Mercedes Stadium. Then, on Tuesday the 25th at Met Life in New Jersey and on Saturday the 29th at Miami Gardens in Florida.

If they continue in the race, in the quarterfinals, Argentina would play on Thursday, July 4 or Friday, the 5th in Texas : Arlington or Houston . And in the semis it would be 9 0 10 in New Jersey or Charlotte (Bank of America Stadium). The final will be on Sunday the 14th in Miami and the match for third place on Saturday the 13th in Charlotte.
