This Saturday the last date of the group stage for zones C and D of the Under 20 World Cup was played, in which four other teams that advanced to the round of 16 were defined: Colombia, Israel, Brazil and Italy.
Japan and Nigeria, meanwhile, came third, although the latter has already secured his place in the next round. Senegal and the Dominican Republic, meanwhile, were eliminated after finishing in last place in their groups.
In zone C, the coffee cast tied 1 to 1 with Senegal and secured first place.
In second place was the surprising Israel, who came back from a memorable game against Japan and, with one less player, won 2-1 and entered the top 16 of a World Cup for the first time in its history. In Group B, Brazil defeated Nigeria 2-0 and Italy thrashed the Dominican Republic 3-0.
In this way, the first three remained with six points, so the qualifying order was defined by goal difference: in this way, the Verdeamarela was at the top, followed by the European team and the African team, respectively.
