This time it is Aston Martin's turn.
The presentation of Alonso's new F1 was on Monday, February 13, and it was a face-to-face event at the new Aston Martin campus in Silverstone. There was a small audience, but it was also broadcast online on the team's channels and social networks.
Aston Martin presented its design for the 2023 Formula 1 season. It was held at an event at the team's new factory in Silverstone, England, where the car was unveiled, draped with a Union Jack flag, in the presence of the two pilots: Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll.
Fernando Alonso has a new home in Formula 1. The two-time world champion will now run with Aston Martin, the British team owned by Lawrence Stroll and led by Mike Krack, in which the Asturian replaces another veteran like Sebastian Vettel, to be the partner of Lance Stroll's team.
The green team from Silverstone will seek to improve its results after two seasons in which it finished seventh in the constructors' championship and with just three races in the top 5, all of them in 2021 (the best result was Vettel's second place in the Azerbaijan GP 2021).
With Alonso's experience and talent and a new car, the British team wants to achieve better performances in this new season of Formula 1.
