Erling Haaland is on track to pulverize all the goalscoring marks in the Premier League. With his hat-trick against Wolverhampton, the Norwegian reached 25 conquests in 19 games played and surpassed the mark for the top scorers for the 2021-2022 season. And he still has 18 dates to go! Awesome.

With only 19 appearances in perhaps the most powerful soccer league in the world, Haaland is located in the general table just one goal behind a historic Manchester City goalscorer: the Argentine Sergio Aguero, who in the 2014-2015 season scored 26 goals.

Until now the absolute record is shared by Andy Cole and the historic Alan Shearer with 34 goals, having thus obtained the Golden Boot in the Premier League in the 1993-1994 and 1994-1995 seasons respectively.

Mohamed Salah, from Liverpool, and Heung-Min Son, from Tottenham, had been the scorers in the last Premier, with 23 goals each. But Haaland has already exceeded that figure by two, still with a long journey ahead. In fact, nobody put it as much as he did in his first season in the English league.

It was Haaland's fourth hat-trick in this Premier and he is also the player who needed the fewest games to achieve it. He did it in 19 appearances and took a surreal distance from Van Nistelroy, the second, who took 65 games. Counting all the competitions, the Android has 30 screams in 25 PJ and, with this projection, there will be no record that will resist him.

To put his numbers into perspective, you can even compare them against entire teams. Wolverhampton, his rival on duty this Sunday, has 12 goals this season, less than half of what the Norwegian has alone. And it also beats others like Chelsea, Crystal Palace, Nottingham Forest, West Ham, Bournemouth, Everton and Southampton.

More than turned on, Haaland did not score more goals because Guardiola took him off the field after 60 minutes of play, with the story already defined. In his place, the Argentine Julián Álvarez entered, who had just started last date in the victory against Tottenham.
