The main attention of the entire sports and soccer community in general on the seventh day of competition at the EURO 2024 Eurocup in Germany was the match between Italy and Spain, the Mediterranean classic. In the remaining matches, Serbia salvaged a point late in the game against Slovenia.

La atención principal de toda la comunidad deportiva y futbolera en general en el séptimo dia de competencias en la Eurocopa EURO 2024que se disputa en Alemania, fue el encuentro entre Italia y España, el clásico mediterráneo. Dos grandes del fútbol mundial. Ganóo España por ma la mínima diferencia aunque pudo, y debió, ser goleada para la selección española- El travesaño y, fundamentalmente, el arquero Donnarumma se lo impidieron.
En los restantes encuentros Serbia rescató un punto agónicamente sobre el final del partido ante Eslovenia.
Mientras que el mismo resultado se registró en Inglterra-Dinamarca.

Gianluigi Donnarumma sostuvo el cero en el arco italiano más de 50 minutos, con tres atajadas espectaculares en la primera parte, una de ellas al minuto de juego, con un cabezazo de de Pedri de frente, que el arquero manoteó para mandarla al córner. Hasta que a los 55, el guardavallas del PSG llegó a desviar el centro de Nico Williams, la gran figura del encuentro, pero no le dio espacio a Calafiori para evitar que su despeje termine en la red.
Pese al gol casi accidental, España justificó amplimente su ventaja: Rodri organizó y empujó desde atrás, para que Pedri y Álvaro Morata abran por el centro del ataque, y un Nico Williams encendido, fue el mejor recurso para escalar por el lateral izquierdo y llegar al fondo. Hizo todo bien: velocidad, intensidad, visión y la movilidad necesaria para posicionarse como definidor también. Y casi hace su gol, pero reventó el travesaño con un fuerte disparo cruzado a los 70.
Lamine Yamal fue una buena opción por la derecha, esta vez con menos participación que en el primer partido, pero con algunos chispazos que no permitieron perderlo de vista. Marc Cucurella también aportó lo suyo, como respaldo subiendo por la izquierda. Dani Carvajal para cortar con jerarquía y sumarse al ataque.
Y cuando demasiadas camisetas blancas (la alternativa de Italia) no permitían llegar al área, ahí estuvo Fabián Ruiz para probar desde afuera.
Italia, que ya había dejado algunas dudas en su remontada ante Albania, quedó completamente desdibujada y tuvo que conformarse con lo que le dejó hacer España, que fue poco. Apenas unas pocas aproximaciones, sin llegar a preocupar a Unai Simón, el único que no pudo lucirse en la Roja.
El 1-0 se quedó corto, pero lo de España es cosa seria. Dos partidos y en ambos borró a su rival de la cancha. Con el pasaje a octavos asegurado, ahora le queda demostrar si puede con el peso del cartel de candidato en esta Eurocopa.
Inglaterra sigue sin convencer tras empate con Dinamarca.
Inglaterra se llenó de dudas con un empate con gusto a poco ante Dinamarca por la Eurocopa
Inglaterra no pasó del empate este jueves frente a Dinamarca al igualar 1-1 por la segunda fecha del Grupo C de la Eurocopa 2024, y se llenó de dudas de cara a lo que viene, en un partido que se puede revivir por Star+ (solo para Sudamérica).
El equipo de Southgate, quien había barrido todo bajo la alfombra con un triunfo en el estreno por la mínima ante Serbia, volvió a repetir equipo y esta vez los puntos flojos de los Tres Leones quedaron al descubierto.
La jornada, sin embargo, parecía encaminarse positivamente para los ingleses, porque una avivada de Kyle Walker para primerear a Victor Kristiansen terminó con un pase al medio, un rebote y la definición de Harry Kane a lo goleador para el 1-0. Y en aquel momento apenas iban 18' y la cosa parecía funcionar. Pero duraría poco.
Un error, esta vez de Kane, con un mal despeje hacia el medio, le regaló la pelota a un Morten Hjulmand que le pegó desde la casa. Pero los extremos y Kane fueron reemplazados e Inglaterra no gravitó más en ofensiva.
Más allá de que Inglaterra no perdió el encuentro -aunque pudo hacerlo- el pálido desempeño y el armado del equipo terminan por inquietar a un DT cuestionado hace tiempo y, de un tiempo a esta parte, por el armado de la lista y por el once. La pregunta es si los británicos están a tiempo de corregir el rumbo para cerrar la fase de grupos y avanzar a una fase final en la que buscarán ser protagonistas
Serbia rescató un empate de manera agónica ante Eslovenia.
Eslovenia acariciaba el triunfo. Por primera vez lograba una victoria en una Eurocopa y se disponía a festejar, pero en la última jugada del partido, tras un centro llegó la igualdad de Serbia y el 1 a 1 definitivo en la segunda fecha del grupo C. El encuentro se puede revivir en Star+ (solo para Sudamérica).
El partido, disputado en el estadio del Bayern Munich, tuvo un primer tiempo sin anotaciones, pero muy vibrante. Fue jugado con nervios, con posibilidades de marcar para ambos equipos. Pero fallaron en la definición.
En el segundo tiempo llegarían las emociones. A los 69 minutos Zan Karnicnik había convertido el 1 a 0 tras un centro de Timi Max que lo dejó solo y con su pierna derecha empujó el balón al fondo de la red.
De un lado estaban los serbios, que por primera vez participan de una Eurocopa. Del otro lado, los eslovenos, que en su segunda participación en una Eurocopa acariciaban lo que sería su primer triunfo en dicho certamen.
Los hinchas eslovenos celebraban lo que era una histórica victoria que además los dejaba en una buena posición para soñar con clasificarse a los octavos de final.
Pero a los 95 minutos, en la última jugada del encuentro llegó el empate agónico de Serbia de la mano de Luka Jovic. Tras un corner preciso de Ivan Ilic, en el que incluso el arquero serbio había ido a cabecear. Jovic se anticipó a todos y logró peinarla y desviarla al segundo palo.
Jovic es el autor del primer gol de su país en una Euro, ya que ésta es la primera participación de Serbia como tal en el torneo continental.
Ahora ambas selecciones deberán esperar por el resultado entre Inglaterra y Dinamarca y ganar en la última fecha para ilusionarse con avanzar en la Eurocopa.
