Switzerland coach Murat Yakin has made official the final list of 26 players with whom the Swiss team will face the FIFA World Cup™ to be held from November 20, 2022 in Qatar.
It will be the fifth World Cup event for Switzerland in a row. In three of the four previous tournaments, the Central European team reached the round of 16. The Swiss were only eliminated from the group stage at South Africa 2010. However, Switzerland's best performances in World Cup history can be found in their first two appearances, at Italy 1934 and France 1938.
