Costa Rica was the second country to submit its final roster for the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
Luis Fernando Suárez called a press conference in which he announced the 26 names that will participate in the biggest sporting event starting on November 20.
The Ticos will be part of Group E along with Spain, Germany and Japan. It will not be an easy task, with reminiscences of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil in which they had to overcome the group of death. The German National Team announced the list of 26 players to play the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
It highlights the presence of Mario Götze, executioner of Argentina in the World Cup in Brazil 2014.
Hansi Flick's team, which will start as one of the candidates for the title, made the choice of players public in a press conference that had generated a lot of expectations in the previous one due to the amount of doubts that there were regarding the conformation of the list by the number of injured.
Timo Werner and Marco Reus were the two most important absences from the list due to their respective injuries, while Mats Hummels and Robin Gosens were cut by Flick and will not be on Qatar soil to play the World Cup either.
