Arianna Caruso's penalty goal 11 minutes into the first half had given the Europeans the lead, but the Africans pulled one back through Benedetta Orsi's own goal 32 minutes into the first half and Hildah Magaia's man-of-the-match strike 22 minutes into the second half. The Europeans outplayed the Central Americans 6-3 with goals from Kadidiatou Diani on three occasions, Maelle Lakrar, Lea Le Garrec and Vicki Becho. Marta Cox, Yomira Pinzon and Lineth Cedeno scored for the losers.
