Introduction and requirements of fish supplementary food

Phytoplankton, zooplankton, small insects from the natural environment of the fish pond take some small snails, oysters, dead etc. as food at the bottom of the pond for growth and survival of the body.

But in case of fish farming, in order to get higher yield, fry are released in ponds at higher density.

Even increasing the natural food by applying fertilizers is not enough. This is called supplemental food. Such as rice husk mustard khail fishmill etc. Grasscarp and sarpunti fish are herbivores. For them, soft leaves of khudipana kutipana vegetables are cut and given to the pond as a supplementary food.

The various nutrients in the supplementary food supplied to the fish, such as I, Swarg Baten Sarkar and the need to ensure that the levels of mineral salts and vitamins are at the required level as per the demand.

A balanced diet is one that is made by keeping enough of these nutrients in the diet. And if a good growth of fish is very much needed then these things should be kept in mind and fed.
