First of all, I want to make a confession—I don't know how qualified I am to tell someone else to tone down their anger; All I can say is that I believe in a philosophy about the reason behind our anger that I have found a way to control my temper and it works for me.
I believe that getting angry is almost always an expression of our extreme optimism Wherever reality fails to live up to our expectations, anger arises Where there is little or no expectation, anger is less likely Our expectations are indeed high; Some of which we are aware of but most of which resides in our subconscious
Missed the return train for a while? If you come two minutes earlier, would you get it? Condemning yourself?— Temper your optimism; No one lives in a world where no one has ever missed a train
Getting stuck in traffic and cursing everyone around you?— Traffic is not biased; Everyone stutters sometimes, it's a universal thing What's different with you?
A friend called to meet has kept him waiting for a long time; Grumpy?— Maybe the poor guy got out just in time, stuck in traffic Everyone in this world has waited impatiently for some loved one You did too!
