How much can you control your brain?

The human brain is structurally very complex. Although the brain controls all the physiological functions of our body, we can never control the brain as per our will. We can control a large part of our thoughts, emotions and behavior, but it is not possible to completely control the brain.

Some parts and activities of the brain are beyond our control, as many of the brain's functions occur at the autonomic and subconscious levels. For example: processes such as heart rate, breathing, and digestion are autonomously controlled by the brainstem, beyond our conscious control.

The brain contains a large number of neural networks and chemical processes. Our conscious mind is not able to fully understand or control these brain processes.

Although we cannot completely control the brain, it is possible to increase control over brain activity to some extent through meditation, mindfulness and mental training. For example, it is possible to calm the mind, control emotions and increase the power of imagination through meditation and mindfulness practice.
