On Friday, September 12, 2025, the Islamic Foundation conducted several programs across different upazilas of Chapainawabganj district. From morning until evening, teachers, caretakers, and officials participated in exchange meetings, visits to education centers and resource centers, as well as coordination meetings.
The day-long events were graced by the presence of Mr. Md. Abdur Rashid Al Mamun, Deputy Project Director (Finance & Budget) of the project “Mosque-Based Child and Mass Education Program for the Development of Morality and Religious Values.” In various meetings and discussions, he delivered directional and guiding remarks.
9:00 AM – Exchange Meeting The day began at 9:00 AM with an exchange meeting at the district model mosque’s own auditorium, attended by all teachers, caretakers, field officers (FO), field supervisors (FS), and master trainers (MT) of the Sadar upazila. The meeting emphasized proper implementation of the project activities, improvement of education quality, and strengthening the sense of responsibility among teachers and staff.
11:00 AM – Education Center Visits At 11:00 AM, the Deputy Project Director visited various education centers in Monaksha Union of Shibganj upazila. During the visit, he observed the teaching environment, attendance of teachers and staff, and participation of students. He also engaged directly with the teachers and staff to discuss different challenges and opportunities related to managing the centers.
4:00 PM – Coordination Meeting The day’s final event took place at 4:00 PM at the Bholahat upazila model mosque, where a coordination meeting was held with IFA teachers and caretakers. At the meeting, teachers were informed about various official instructions of the project, while they highlighted their problems and shared experiences from field-level operations. Teachers expressed their commitment to further improving the teaching process.
Presence of Officials Islamic Foundation Chapainawabganj’s Deputy Director, Mr. Md. Golam Mostafa, was also present during the visits and meetings. He assisted the Deputy Project Director and elaborated on the overall state of educational activities in the district.
Organized on a Holiday Although Friday was a government holiday, all teachers, caretakers, and officials responded promptly to the sudden call from the Islamic Foundation and ensured their presence, making the day-long program a success. This was described as a reflection of their dedication and sense of responsibility.
Speakers at the meetings and during the visits emphasized that the mosque-based child and mass education program is playing a vital role in shaping the new generation on the basis of morality and religious values. The Deputy Project Director urged every teacher and caretaker to work responsibly and provide quality education to students.Officials expressed hope that such initiatives by the Islamic Foundation in Chapainawabganj will further strengthen and accelerate the district’s educational activities.
