One of the most popular means of daily travel in the cities and rural areas of our country is the autorickshaw, which we usually call "auto" for short. It is an affordable, easily accessible and relatively fast means of travel. The experience of traveling by auto is quite exciting, sometimes fun and sometimes difficult.
That day, I was going from one end of the city to the other for an urgent work and chose an auto as a way to reach the destination quickly by avoiding traffic jams. As soon as I got into the auto, the interior decoration of the vehicle was noticeable. The roof was decorated with colorful fabrics, fringes, artificial flowers. Such decoration made the journey a little more enjoyable.
As soon as the auto ride started, the street scenes came into view with a light breeze. Rickshaws, bikes, buses and people were passing by quickly. A light breeze was felt on my body, which brought some relief even in the scorching heat. The auto driver was moving around the different roads, avoiding traffic jams. This is the main advantage of the auto. It can move easily through narrow lanes.
However, there are some disadvantages of the auto. The seating space is not always comfortable, especially if there are many passengers. Sometimes, the extra noise and smoke can also be a cause of suffering. Yet, thousands of people rely on this vehicle every day for their livelihood.
When you talk to the auto drivers, you can hear many stories. Their life struggles, laughter and jokes with the passengers, or sometimes some bitter experiences, everything revolves around the six feet of this auto. One driver was saying, “I take out the car in the morning, drive all day, and live on what I get in the evening.” Such a simple yet struggling lifestyle makes us think.
A journey by auto is not just about going from one place to another, but it is a daily rhythm of our city. This vehicle has become a part of urban life. If you want to go somewhere quickly or avoid the crowd of public transport, auto is a reliable means
Finally, it can be said that traveling by auto is an important experience in our lives. It is not just a vehicle, but a part of our daily life, which constantly carries stories of joy and pain, fatigue and excitement, and reality.
