LET'S LEARN

You don't marry who you love. Yes! You don't marry who you love, you love who you marry.

As essential as love is in every marriage, love isn't enough.
Infact what keeps the marriage relevant is purpose. Especially to the man.

Men are logical in nature while women are emotional. For a man, work is a priority but for the woman, relationship is a priority.

When God made Adam, He brought him to the garden, the first thing Adam saw was the garden(work), but when God formed Eve, He brought her to Adam, the first thing Eve saw was  Adam (relationship).

This doesn't make her inferior. It's just her nature.

Marriage is a union of these two people with different priorities, so for marriage to work there must be a balance.

God saw that Adam was alone and God said, this is not good... That sounded like God was going to give Adam a shoulder to lean on, No! God was giving Adam a help suitable for him.
Note, Adam was not lonely in the garden, Adam was alone. This implies that in the assignment he had received from God he had no help.

Marriage is for purpose. So as a man before you propose find purpose.
The person you marry is called your life partner, the word "partner" is more of a business term than a social term. This means that you partner with your spouse to do life together. If the partnership isn't there then the purpose of marriage has been defeated.

As Adam went about his daily work, it wasn't very easy so God had to make him a help not just any kind of help but a suitable help.

So when the woman is the suitable help for the man's assignment, the man can not avoid making her his priority because definitely he can't do without her. So by this, the lady gets all the attention she needs and the man gets the help he needs.

This is God's original design for marriage.
