People are hungry for love and, more often than not, will do anything to get it. We have learned that love is an unconditional commitment towards imperfect people to seek their highest good, which often requires sacrifice, for the glory of God. Love also involves speaking the truth in love

As a result, we are no longer to be children, tossed here and there by waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, by craftiness in deceitful scheming; but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ,
- Ephesians 4:14-15

As Christians, one of our main callings is to speak the truth to each other, but this should be done in love. There are two extremes –being afraid to speak the truth and being harsh in speaking the truth. Both are not God’s design for us. Rather, we should grow in both areas –speaking all the truth that we know with all the love that we have. God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word
