Wedding ceremony

Greetings to all!

Today my day started very early. I had to wake up at 6 am to prepare for the wedding ceremony of my husband's eldest daughter.

Of course, I can call it solemn with a big stretch, since they signed in the municipality and they invited only parents and witnesses.

We arrived in advance. The young ones were not even there yet. Well, we're always like this, we don't like to be late.

At 9 am, the vice-mayor arrived and they opened the hall of celebrations to us.

The hall is quite modest, there are no old frescoes and painted ceilings, as you can usually find in old buildings of the state and municipal service in Italy. The bride was in an ordinary elegant dress.

She will wear a wedding dress tomorrow at a gala dinner. Together with her husband, they have been officially acquainted with her husband for 8 years.

They have two children 5 and 4 years old, the kids were also with mom and dad today.

At first, they sat like mice, quietly and listened to what the mayor said.

And then they tired of sitting and walked around the hall, but they didn't make any noise.

The major articles of the family code, the rights and obligations of spouses in relation to each other, as well as in relation to children, were read out.

My daughter's husband is a lawyer, so he listened carefully to the mayor and controlled the dates of birth of witnesses so that everything was correctly recorded in the documents, since the mayor sometimes made mistakes...

The whole ceremony lasted about 30 minutes. The newlyweds exchanged their rings. They preferred rose gold rather than white.

I took photos all the time, although an official photographer was invited.

After the ceremony, we went to the nearest bar, and all had breakfast together. After the bar, everyone went to their homes, as everyone has something to do, and the young people need to meet their guests who come from all over Italy.

There will be 80 people invited tomorrow. I will take pictures of everything. Next time I will write how the wedding itself and the gala dinner went.
