When living in a country, we have to study the laws of the country where we live. It is a pity that I, having lived in Italy for 5 years, was not interested at all in these matters. But the European Union has important and obligatory for each European country of the united Union laws on social protection of citizens of European countries.
In addition, each European country has a package of national Laws regarding social protection for its citizens.
It is difficult to know everything, because you have to know the language at a high level. And it is difficult for me. At the same time, most Italians, while possessing the language, are absolutely not legally savvy. In Russia, this is much better.
I have just begun to deal with the benefits that almost 90% of the population has, and I know very definitely that most of the Italians do not use their rights. And that's bad, because if you don't use the funds that the government allocates to support citizens, then with each new year when it forms the budget for the next year, the government will allocate less and less money for social programs. After all, before forming the budget, there is an economic analysis of the effective use of funds for previous years and if the state sees that it allocates funds for social protection and these funds are not used during the year, it means that people do not need this support.
The problem is that the majority of citizens don't even suspect the existence of many social programs, because there is absolutely no informational work on the part of the mass media to explain people their social rights.
I can't say it's on purpose, I don't know, but the reality is that people don't know their rights.
By the way, I already read that in England there is a very good and strong support for citizens, but people do not enjoy the right to receive subsidies for gas, water and light. Because they don't know how to fill out the modules... And they don't know where and to whom to go to fill out these modules. That's why they wave their hands and pay in full.
So it is in Italy. Depending on the family income, the number of family members, their expenditures on rent, or payment of utility bills, bank accounts and the presence of a car, real estate in the property can be issued ISEE, a document of income and at the official publication of regulations on the official website of the city or village, you can participate in the bando (contests) for a particular
payment, which by law is represented by the local authority, the state and the European Union. And many people don't even use a computer, how can they know about these contests?
Of course, I still have a lot to understand, because I do not want to lose support from the state. Anyway, I found an interesting thing to do...
