Greetings all friends on Serey.io!
It's a happy day and I'm in a hurry to share my news.
I have a daughter; she is 32 years old and her name is Valeria.
When she was 15 years old she went to college to study social psychology. She studied for 3 years and graduated with honours. During her studies, she had an internship at an orphanage and rehabilitation centre where she had to work with autistic children and children with Down's syndrome.
She would come home and gush to me about these children and her work with them. Honestly, I was a little surprised, but I saw my child's happy eyes! And it was sincere. She really enjoyed working with such children.
When she was working at the orphanage, she liked one boy. His name was Sasha and he was about 3 years old. She asked me to adopt him. I couldn't take such a responsible step, I was quite old.
Who would have known, but apparently my child from the age of 15 had formed the goal to adopt a child. But she never shared it with me. I didn't think it was serious for her. Then she went to university to study foreign languages. She is now fluent in English and still works with children, teaching them English.
And then, since last year, she started saying that she was ready to take in a child. I sort of talked her out of it at first, but then I realized it was no use. She had decided, and it matured her decision a long time ago. I accepted her position and supported her in everything. I saw how happy she was that her mother was on her side.
I having lived in Italy and having had grandchildren on my husband's side, accept them as my grandchildren. I don't care that they are not my blood relatives, but I love them so much and see that there is love on their side as well. So, I figured, who cares if they are blood grandsons or not, the key thing is that my daughter is not alone as of today. She has a baby boy, a pretty little son, he is 1 year 10 months old.
I also had a thought once. When I die, I will be gone and my daughter will be left alone, with no brothers or sisters. I didn't think about it before, when I had the chance to have children. I should have. And then I realised she was doing the right thing. Maybe it would be better if she had not just one, but three. Then she wouldn't be alone in the world. Children will grow up, time flies quickly, but then they will take care of her.
I'm sure they will. I tell her the house should always be comfortable. The baby comes home, and there's a mother who can't wait for the baby to come home from daycare or school. Always talking calmly, with no shouting.
It was only in Italy that I saw the difference, how children grow up in families where everything is on nerves and where there is a peace of mind and tranquillity. How happy and calm the children are in the second families. They grow up and they keep the same love for their parents. And those who were brought up in screaming and nervousness have their own families, too, and there is no love.
Roberto Benigni made an excellent reading and clarification in his programme, "The 10 Commandments of Christ". If someone had explained to us in this way once, what they mean to people, why is it written in the Bible? Perhaps we would be kinder, more spiritually generous, more tolerant and happier!!!
"Honour thy father and thy mother, that it may be well with thee, and thou shalt be long upon the earth."
For honouring and caring for parents in their old age, God will grant longevity to their children. The better we care for our parents, the longer we live and the benefits it gave us in life. Parents become our children in old age, and we have to take care of them as children, not to snap and shout, but to explain, as they explained to us in our childhood, with love and affection, not by shouting and hysterics. Patience begets love. And kindness can save the world.
In terms of beauty I do not agree with F.M. Dostoevsky, but in all other things very much my favorite writer!
So I became a grandmother once again today! And I now have another granddaughter.
Thank you, friends for reading. Be kinder to your children and parents, take care of them and you will live happily ever after!

Очень трогательно! Про родителей согласна!)
Спасибо большое. Про родителей это в Библии так записано, жаль, что многие этого не знают и забывают о родителях: звонят редко, приходят еще реже, не помогают, срываются на них, от нетерпения.
