Several pictures of Ronaldo's dissatisfaction and annoyance sitting on the bench have appeared in the English media. The incident got an added dimension when the former Real Madrid forward left the field in the 89th minute before the end of the match and headed towards the tunnel.

According to several media reports, the coach asked Ronaldo to play as a substitute, but he refused to enter the field because it was too late.
Earlier, in the goalless draw against Newcastle United last Sunday, the coach picked up Ronaldo who played in the starting eleven in the second half. Dissatisfaction appeared in his behavior even then.
Many people expressed their anger at Ronaldo's behavior in the Tottenham match. Former England forward Gary Lineker expressed his anger in an interview with the BBC on the day of the match.
"It's unacceptable—too bad."
Ten Haag faced questions about Ronaldo's behavior after the 2-0 win. The United coach also expressed his displeasure.
"(On Ronaldo going into the tunnel) not today, I will sit on it tomorrow. We are now celebrating this victory. I saw him, but did not speak to him.”
With the latest statement in this case, United said that Ronaldo will not be in the team for the match against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge next Saturday.
"The rest of the squad is fully focused on preparing for the next match."
The statement, however, said that the 37-year-old Portuguese forward is still an important part of the team and that the decision was made on disciplinary issues.
I think Cristiano Ronadl made a mistake when Manchester United, a club that has given him so much and to which he returned after his time at Juve, did not qualify for the Champions League this year.
That was a very hard blow to Cristiano's ego, who considers himself to be only at the level of the Champions League, considering the Europa League as second level. Infatti, he did everything to try to change clubs and play in the Champions League before starting the second half of 2022.
