Holland looks at the next World Cup with regret

The presence of someone in such rhythm would surely have brightened the World Cup. But the Netherlands' dream of playing in the World Cup came to an end after Norway was eliminated from the selection.


Holland, who scored 21 goals for Norway, will therefore have to watch the World Cup as a spectator. Although the experience was not pleasant at all, he wants to accept the reality and move forward.

"I definitely wanted to play in the World Cup, but that's the reality now (that) I won't be playing there."


"The biggest thing we can do is play in a World Cup or the Euros. Of course, this is my goal for the national team. We know, it's hard. But hopefully, one day in the future I will be able to play there."

This season of the World Cup will start from November 20. For this reason, there will be a break in club football from November 14 to December 18.

If all goes well, Holland can return to the field with a match against Liverpool in the fourth round of the English League Cup after the World Cup break.
