According to reports, the Saudi Geological Survey (SGS) announced on Thursday that a gold mine has been discovered in Umm Al-Barak Hejaz in the Aba Al-Raha region of Madinah. Four copper mines were found in Al-Madiq area of Wadi Al-Fara region.
According to the Middle East Mirror, the new discoveries will attract local and international investors. Gold and copper mines are expected to contribute to the development of Saudi Arabia's national economy.
According to Al Arabiya news, the amount of investment in new discoveries may exceed 530 million US dollars. 4 thousand jobs can be created.

Last May, the country's relevant ministry announced plans to invest 3,000 billion US dollars in the mining sector. Later last August, the Ministry of Industries and Mineral Resources gave preliminary approval to 13 bidders for the Ummal-Damar mining license.
