Afridi is the hero by crushing Bangladesh

The fight for life and death, the path to the World Cup will end as soon as the legs are broken. Shaheen Shah Afridi shined in such a difficult match of the team. He made the biggest contribution in Pakistan's win against Bangladesh with career best bowling.



Pakistan defeated Bangladesh by 5 wickets in their last match in Super Twelve phase of T20 World Cup in Adelaide on Sunday. They stopped the opponent for 127 runs and reached the port of victory 11 balls before.

With this victory, Pakistan made it to the semi-finals. Afridi, who laid the foundation with his excellent bowling in the first half of the match, was undoubtedly the key to their victory.

Afridi took 4 wickets with just 22 runs in 4 overs. The left-arm pacer's previous best in T20 Internationals was 3 for 14 runs. After such a performance, who else is the best of the match!


Afridi became man of the match for the fourth time in his career of 45 matches in international T20. Two of which are in T20 World Cup. He won this recognition by taking 3 wickets in the memorable victory against India in the last edition.

Afridi struck first in the Bangladesh camp. He returned Liton Das who scored 60 runs against India in his second and third overs of the match. The Bangladesh opener was caught at backward point by slashing his short ball.

Afridi ended his first spell with that one wicket for 14 runs in 2 overs.

Later he returned to the attack in the seventeenth over. This pacer put Bangladesh in danger by taking two wickets in the over. Mosaddek Hossain was bowled by his excellent yorker. Nurul Hasan Sohan took the catch after two balls.
